FREE HTML5 Audio Players
HTML5 is sure a big hit this year as far as web design trends go. Several months ago we released the HTML5 video converter for website designers and bloggers to easily convert HTML5 videos and embed the video players into their websites and blogs. As the HTML5 video player uses the native HTML5 < video > tag, on one hand, it can maximize the compatibility on different devices, on the other hand, it is impossible to integrate with the native HTML5 < audio > tag. audio.js
audio.js is a drop-in javascript library that allows HTML5’s <audio> tag to be used anywhere.
It uses native <audio> where available and an invisible flash player to emulate <audio> for other browsers. It provides a consistent html player UI to all browsers which can be styled used standard css.
mp3 is the current defacto music transfer format. audio.js focuses on playing mp3s. It doesn’t currently support the ogg format. So if you use this html5 audio player, it will not be playable on Firefox browser as Firefox does not support mp3 format.
